DKFZ NGFN Uniklinik Heidelberg Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung

Initially developed for expression profiling in genomic research projects at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and subsequently tailored towards the highest availability of all crucial data in the field of translational research, our integration center for high throughput experiments iCHIP acts as the central data management and data analysis hub for national and international consortia. iCHIP includes, e.g. whole genome sequence data, mass spectrometry, matrix-CGH, tissue microarrays and cellular assays utilizing RNAi technology. The wealth of data gathered in the clinical context serves for the characterization of diseases, for their chronological progression or for the efficiency of therapeutic strategies.
